Before the movie there was the book. And the book is the root of all evil…erhm…awesomeness that was then transformed into a movie. Many people skip over the book and watch the movie, which isn’t getting an Oscar nom any time soon, but it was a decent movie that reached its audience and made lots and lots of money. Twilight’s true power lies in the books themselves. The saga transports girls and taps into all of their primal desires: to be loved and loved in return.

We love Edward. He’s everything we expect our men to be. Too bad they haven’t gotten the hint yet! Yet, we have an actor who portrays our favorite boy in the movies. In our minds has Edward become Rpattz and Rpattz become Edward? Will we continue to support Rob after the movie franchise finishes and he relinquishes his role as Edward, or will we allow him to fade into the woodworks of other actors who became famous by playing a certain role?

Twilight lights up our hearts and minds. Nature’s twilight surely does, but we are talking about Stephanie Meyer’s novel Twilight and its movie adaptation. Twilight tells the story of a high school girl Bella who comes to live with her father in the rainy Forks after her parents’ divorce. Life is full of surprises for Bella as she falls in love with her schoolmate Edward who actually is a vampire. These brilliant characters took away the whole world by storm and have become the latest party favorites of Americans. Following Harry Potter, birthday and Halloween parties, high school and college parties are now being based on Twilight themes.
